Embossed Painting on Canvas

Hi All,

I took some time off from card making and tried out a new technique of Embossing on Canvas board. This technique was demonstrated on a TV show.I have used a readymade 8 X 10 Canvas board from Fine Art.I traced out the floral design on the board. To create the embossed effect, I have used Non stitch fabric glue from HobbyIdeas. After it dries well, we could start painting with Acrylic colours.I have added outlining and highlighted a few details with Black acrylic paint just to raise the effect of embossing.

This could be framed well and mounted on wall to make a Decorative Wall Hanging. For the moment, I am yet to give this for framing, so, I have just added a small tag on the back side and mounted on a wall.
Here is the image of the painting hung on a wall.
A close up of the painting, not sure if the camera is able to pick up the embossed effect very closely.

Festive Christmas Card

Hi All,
This is my first card for Christmas.I have used three different patterned papers from Itsy Bitsy. The focal image is a hand drawn Christmas image, as I do not have any stamp, ink with me, planning to start collections sooner :).I have used the colours red, green and mustard yellow for the image, surrounding the image I have drawn a circular outline with Silver glitter pen.
I have incorporated stitching at the right bottom and top of the card, done a simple cross-stitch with an embroidery thread.
Added a white lace at the bottom of the card , with a layer of ribbon and a beautiful bow with a button at the centre, which I bought from crafter friend Kalayalaya's craft store.

For the first time, making use of punched flowers to do some embellishments. Well looks pretty interesting,at the top left, I am including punched flowers with red and green glazed sheet, with silver gem stones at the centre of the flower.
A view of the focal image.

Center step card with Dots & Stripes

Hi all,

I made this Center step card by follwing a video tutorial, of course I altered the dimensions of the card as I wanted to have the cut patterned papers look more larger. I have used three different patterned papers from Itsy Bitsy. Well, the central focal image is a hand drawn image from a Comic book which I thought would fit well in the center and coloured using Water based colour pencils, on the four corners I have used cute little Strawberry shaped buttons to look more different.
Finally, I always like to include ribbon in all my card designs, so I decided to adhere a double looped bow with Red ribbon at the bottom.

Entering this card at Incy Wincy Designs for the Tic Tac Toe challenge, I am  using the first column (Red, Buttons, 3 Designer Papers)- http://incywincydesigns.blogspot.com/

I just added a sentiment tag from Itsy Bitsy to enter into the ICR challenge,Dots & Stripes with a Tag ,as well.
